Aaand week 12 is now upon us… wow. Final week of classes, but certainly not the end of assignments. Earlier this week, our group meeting was missing 2/5 of our team, however, all was good. I feel that finally, in this week’s tute (also being the last class of the semester), we were finally on [...]
This morning’s group meeting was all about tying up the loose ends of the various documents and things that we had outstanding. Thank God for catch up week, huh?!
Class today was, yet again, a time to realise the amount of stuff we still had to get done. I’m not going to lie, this whole participatory [...]
I must say, the ID map that I’ve produced for our participatory project is a lot simpler than what my online identity ID map was. It was pretty straight forward: we’ve got our sources for collecting content, which are predominantly Facebook, Twitter, but also include our Gmail account. These are manually fed into our tumblr [...]

Song certainly makes a good point here. It’s rather unnerving to think [...]
Ridding our Facebook page of the very religiously tainted image of two hands reaching, I’ve put together this picture as our ID image. Having the fist bump icon definitely gives it more of a ‘brotherly’ vibe, also making it more contemporary and youthful. Also to bring this out, I’ve used a bold, sans serif font.
At today’s meeting, we finally decided on our concept for this semester’s Participatory Project. Keeping with the feel good, positive idea, the saying ‘help a brother out’ came to mind, and from this the notion of good deeds automatically attached. Basically, our project, ‘Help A Brother Out’ aims to remind everyone how good and kind [...]
