today was the first of three multitrack workshop sessions that we will be having across the semesters.

as you all know by now, i am the most technically scared, fearful of gadgets person at RMIT! those edit suites EEEK! so i was quite intimidated by going into the multitrack studio. to my surprise however, i actually followed what Windsor was saying pretty well. i was totally lost and overwhelmed, but at the same time i know that it will all make sense when i go to do it myself. im actually feeling more at ease if anything after today. i will admit, i was one of those naughty few who stuck to garage band last semester, so i am quite fearful of protools. but, i cant run from it forever and this semester i plan on facing the fear head on!

AND im really really looking forward to audio arts ! last week in the lecture when bruce played the fractured fairytales WOW they were incredible ! what a great piece of work to add to ones cv! i can only hope that what my team produces is to that standard. i cannot wait !
