I was thinking recently about something, which i think, is very intriguing. I went to an art gallery with my mum and grandmother in Prahran. When i walked into the gallery I was taken a back. I saw this unbelievable, over-powering painting, It shone above every other piece of art in the room. It was just so big. I also realised it wasn’t just one painting but it was on three separate panels.

Suddenly, i thought back to spatial montage and how it can be presented and how it is normally presented. On the internet, spatial montages are all part of the same idea yet they appear on several panels. I was so excited because this was technically the same idea!!!

I believe that a painting can be a spatial montage. The painting I saw was a spatial montage. It was providing lots of different information all at the same time yet it came together so perfectly.
