During week 1, our Lecture introduced to us the outline of this course and introduced us to the concept of Web 2.0.

Our lecturer Seth Keen used the video below "The Machine is Us/ing Us?" to demonstrate this concept

It talks about basically how the internet works and links us together. Through hypertext? Social Media?

The idea of the world's knowledge is a finger click away is quite interesting! However, the most interesting and technical parts in the vide, I believe is watching how fast the guy in the video  Click, type, highlight, delete x100 ...for the entire 4:32 min! Good Job!

In the Tutorial, Hugh take us through some of the useful websites like:

    • Delicious - Online bookmarking collection, there are some very cool weblink on delicious which would be quite interesting to explore!
    • Google Doc - share your document online, but FB has similar doc share app already
    • Last but not least Dropbox!!! - this is an online cloud service, now through this I can share my music with my friend and sister!! Maybe USB will eventually be taking over by this types of cloud service.
