January 24th, 2011CourseIn my opinion,Blog is kind of free place which is basically for individual to express themself by using different tools like text, image ,music… it just like a online diaries.
the fantanstic point of Welblog i think is welblog looks like a personal and private space for individual but actually it is a public interactive channel cause blog is a sybolic networked media. as a result , everyone can write what they like, at the same time, everyone also can be a viewer to see what they like in the blogs.
In china, there is a rank for famous blogs as well, However,The enormous power of Chinese internet users make the welblogs much more like a huge public communication venue.

January 20th, 2011Social issuesin 2010 , there is a new english word which created by chinese internet users has became the most popular word among the whole chinese networked media. it called gelivable!
some of the english media actually has focus ” gelivable” and give it a defination in English:
Chinese internet bussword which means “cool” “awesome” or”exciting “. Literally,”giving power”.
“Geili” is created from two chinese characters”Gei” and”li.” Literally, it means “giving power,” but it now widely accepted as an adjective describing something that is “cool.”
A test of a chinese jargon word’s trendiness is if users translate it into a foreign language. Acorrding to its pronunciation. “Geili” has been transformed into the English-sounding “gelivable,” and ” ungelivable.” However, ” gelivable” grabbed wider public attention after it appeared online in May in an episode of a Chinese-dubbed Japanese comic animation.

January 20th, 2011Social issuesChinese internet users can not use Facebook or Twitter in China because some restricted policies but that’s make native microblog has a change to grow up itself. Sina microblog is a successful example. Obviously, sina microblog has similar functions compared with Twitter, however Sina Company also do some of modify in order to make the service more suitable for Chinese internet users. According to the official data, the total sina macroblog users will break through one billion.
Another point I would like to say is that sina microblog is not just account for self use but sometimes also become a symbolic oriented public opinion which from huge Chinese internet users. Network makes people power more strong and sometimes it will reflect a real issue or change issue’s result.

However, no matter what kind of network, the original is to make links with each other and set up an interactive relationship in such a huge area to making the massage transmission.
