Here are two short video clips of our class exercise. Both of them are shot during the lesson and edit within a week.
The first one is a video about group dissuasion. This exercise aims to practice our skill of capturing footage of people talking in front of the camera and how we intercut some B-roll during they talk.
When we were shooting, there are few things we must notice: the moment when they say something emotional and their gesture. Both of them can create a good montage if we can capture the detail with close up.
And the second one is a video of moving objects. We finally asked a group of football players let us shoot them when they were having joy.
To be honest, I don’t satisfy with the footages because of the light and shadow is very hard to control. Also, I think I should take more footage from different angel and more close up. Just like when we watch a real football match, we would have some pictures of the players’ face and a close up on their feet.
