Distance is not a big deal. Time is no significant factor either. The web encourages a short attention span. Hop from link to link, from tab to tab, site to site at your own whim: it's practically the law. But how to choose? Blog posts generally contain a number of links - possibly some sort of description or criticism of them - that create a context or give greater meaning to the post. You could be online all day following up on each link that you see on your screen. These links that are carefully suggested by bloggers. You trust them by now, you want to please them, leave a comment that shows you've done your homework. Links have the potential to drive you insane. |
