It is apparent that the concepts of spatial montage and multiple information streams has a great impact on not only reactionary cinema but also on the organisation of lifestyle and in constructing views of events, people and ideas. In social networking tools the description of a person is generated not by an actual analysis, but by signifying items, connoting specific character traits, while similarly our understanding of current events is formulated by contrasting opinions from various sources. Multiple information streams are also formed by the current networked media environment, especially in regards to online videos, as these can be viewed arbitrarily, with mainstream film reacting to these movements by adopting certain principles.
