The product of Apple is getting wider, from the begining, there’s only products for MP3, and then to MP4, and now an iphone with 2g and 3g. For all the following products, they are all link to itunes. Itunes enable the user to buy songs and even movies to play it using the Ipods/Iphone/Itouch.

Itunes is actually a convenient way for the user to buy musics and movie, they do not have to buy the whole album to just listen to one particular song.

ok…im trying to see whether this thing works or not…..wish me luck~~

Week 8

It’s already week 8 now, and basically i think the things that i have and need to do and find it important to do to at least get a pass/credit is roughly the same as week 1 and 4, which is :

• Write 3-5 blogs a week
• Look at some other’s blogs and evaluate them
• Do the readings, and reflect the readings in the blog

i am actually working quite hard to achieve the things that i’ve written, it is quite challenging for me, because i do not actually have strong interest on writing blog.

a list of My Weaknesses:

1. Posting Blogs Entries

For writing blogs, i think i didnt do very well, because not every week i posted at least 3 post, sometimes i really didnt know what can i write, and i didnt really like blogging too. But, i think i did try hard to try to archive at least 3 a week, and i did try to post things that i find it relevant to the course.

2. Doing The Readings

To be honest, i think did not do well in the readings too, because i only read the readings when i needed too…but i didnt do it often..

3. Viewing other’s blog

Well, i do look at other classmates or other people’s blogs, because i know in this way i could get more information related to the course, and from there i sometimes have more idea on what to write in the blog and for my project.

4. Contribution

I reckon i did not really contribute much in class, because sometimes i didnt know how to express myself, but whenever i have chance i’ll try to give up ideas. The other thing that i did not do well is giving out comments to my classmates’ blogs.

5. Practical

I think i need to look at more tutorials for learning how to use CSS, because right now i still do not have the basic skills of using CSS, although i know it’s not important in this sem, but i thnk i should learn at least the basics stuff.

Well after the class of adopt a blog, i found one blog that was presented by one of my classmate quite interesting, which is Access Malaysia Today

There’s actually several reason that i find it quite interesting, first of all im a MALAYSIAN and the blog is about Malaysia, therefore i found it quite interesting!!! and secondly, after listening what my classmate said, i feel the blog itself much more interesting, because she said that the link/name of the blog will always change, whenever the government finds out the exist of the blog, the government will then delete the blog (i find this funny actually).

I reckon, this is why the layout of this blog is simple and plain, and the blog focus on “sending/giving information to the readers”, and also “receiving comments from the residents”. May be through the blog people could understand more about Malaysia’s politics, most of all the “Truth”.

Other than that, in this blog, the audience will be able to have the chance to respond and leave comments. The audiece have the freedom to leave down their thoughts and share it. Which will be able to let the other readers to explore more.

I have then found another politic blogs, which is from Australia, Oz Politics Blog

To compare both of the blogs, they both actually have almost the same layouts, which is plain and full of text. but in the OZ blog, they do not provide a space for the reader to explore and to express, which i think it’s not convenient for the reader, although creating a blog they do have thier own choice to let or not to let the reader to respond to it, but a blog of politics, which always contains some sensitive issues will always raise opinions.

Thinking about the final project that worth quite a lot..

What do i want to make?

At first i thought of the Weblogs…but then when i was thinking of the ideas and stuff.. i realized that i dont really understand and like Weblogs, and then i looked at Manovich, which really make me feel that it is interesting. I then decided to work on Manovich, “Cinematic and Graphic”.

Well i actually agree to what he actually argued..because in the modern century like today, people like to do things fast and quick, and people is greedy, therefore working in multiple form is quite normal right now, looking at different things at the same time is also possible because of our advance of technology. Nothing is impossible right now.

Ideas:

• Using images to make the site more interesting
• look different…but how??…thinking..
• plan to use video…is it possible? …trying..

NOW NOW NOW~~we can upload or download video using the internet…..Thru Youtube or blip.tv..well there’s actually one way for us to download the clips from Youtube….(Make sure you have the right to do it!!!) Thru KeepVid , it is quite easy to download, just paste the link of the video from youtube to the blank, and click download.

Other than that, uploading video is pretty easy too~~ open the file and click uploaod~thn it’s done~~

Secret Enemy Hide Out

The blog of Zach Klein. Well i actually think Klein’s blog is quite interesting, i heard about his blog from the our Network Media lecture, and when i get in to his link, i feel that it is attractive, and it is also a place where people will want to stay tune every week. Not only the content that with images and videos are interesting, the layout of the blog is something different, it will not look boring, the photo roll on the right hand side of the blog actually cough my attention more then everything in the blog.

In Klein’s blog, there’s a connection with Flicker, the blog roll beside there’s photos of Klein. Through this Klein will be able increase the audience of his blog.

Actually i think the layout of a blog is actually important, because most of the time people will actually look at the layouts then only to the content, therefore with a good layout will attract more readers.

Therefore the theme of a blog is actually important.

Blog theme allows users to have persistent themes for their blogs based on the theme they choose for their account. When others view thier main blog page, or any node (of specific admin-defined types) created by them, the reader will see the authors theme instead of their own.

The first thing that an audience look at when they look at a blog, they will mostly first look at the out look of the blog,  which will be the theme. If the out look of the blog is attractive the audience will then want to have a further look of the blog. After looking at the theme of the blog, the audience will then pay attention of the information of the blog, blogs with more visual elements wil be much more attractive compare to blogs with just plain text.

sometimes i wonder..why do i write blog?

well..for myself, i write blog to express my feelings, and i do not write blog everyday, i will only write blog when i feel either sad or happy, but i do not really write about my daily stuff..sometimes i wonder.. why people own more then 1 blog, and they will update all the time and using it in a different language, the content might not be same, which have different target audience.

In this semester, there is quite alot of things that i have to do, which is

• blog post,
• websites,
• radio,
• tv and
• also proposal.

time management will be important.
