And How Does The

   Multi-lingual Community Work?

Language is an important issue for a community.

It is the tool for people to communicate, only with free communication, a community can live and people can enjoy sharing their beliefs and happiness with each other. As Alan said, "Heidelberg Presbyterian Church is an International Church. As well as Australians of European background, we have members who are Korean and Chinese.

As I am Chinese, I no longer feel alone or homesick while living in Australia since I joint this community, because I can talk with so many people in my mother language.

But sooner or later we have to use English.

A community consisted by people from so many different culture backgrounds, languages must be a big problem! But every coin has its two sides, the language difficulty also can be one of the most powerful motive for people to join our community. Of course the belief of Jesus Christ is our most powerful motive to come to the church, and as we all live in Australia, learning and practicing English is necessary for us people whose mother language is not English.

Through improving the English language, every members will know better about the God's words.
