As a community, people must have their common Beliefs. And the beliefs must be various between different communities.

Every church have its own beliefs, there are small differences between different church genres. However, they all respect God's word, the Bible, and love their neighbours like themselves.

Our church also have its official belief, as Alan talked in my interview.

However, we still experience some common personal beliefs while we are living in this special community.

Interview of Rev. Alan Every

Senior Minister of Heidelberg Presbyterian Church

"OUR BELIEFS"

7 December, 2005     Wednesday   Fine

It is the fist time for me to join the evening Bible study, in five o'clock Alan and his wife Ginny went to Collingwood and pick me up. Although I moved out of City of Banyule, they still welcome me stay in this church. For the trouble transport, all the church members are willing to pick me up when there is a warship or Bible study.

We talked so happy and only 20 minutes later we got Cunneen's home, I got to know that some of the bible study meetings are hold in church member's home. The family is very kind. They studied some chapters of Ephesians in the  new testament. Although I couldn't catch up with them, I could feel they were studying in real earnest. Alan explain the bible word after word, he even have an Oxford dictionary with him.

It was a pity that I couldn't understand all they talked, but I believe one day I can talk my own understand of the bible freely, however, it takes time.

Anyway, I am so happy this evening
