Here I am! This is me, I'm probably the one who sticks out of the community as being different. While everyone else comes from an almost similar background, speaks the same language, have similar goals, lifestyles, worries or no worries, mine are all different!
I'm more active outside of the community, with my roles at Uni, at work, at TV Shows, papers, volunteering, gym, and as many other activities as I can fit in. "Sudi does her own work, and whatever we tell her to do for the house, never interferes, and gives her views when needed, so it's great." says Mona. Music to my ears! In another community, there may have been issues about the time I'm able to give, but in this one, it's all good!
The reason I'm here is Shachi, we were classmates in school. Her random hugs and Mona's smiles when I come home are very comforting. Heeral and Chandu have also been suportive in my emotional minutes. I was unsure of my place in the community for a long time, as everyone else seemed to gel well, but with time, there's this understanding and though I don't spend enough time, I feel a part of the unit, moreso now as we're fewer.
When I'm home I'm rarely sitting, unless in front of the laptop ;). I'm either helping with cooking, cleaning, studying, or on rare occasions, on the phone. There was a time when I had managed to lock everyone out of the house by mistake, and Guddu had to climb in through the gallery, and let us in :)! I like it that the others ask me to be a part of fun activities, but don't demand!
