Community can be described as a group of people who share the same religion. Therefore, for my final project on online community documentary, I decided to look at the Sikh community. A community that always been my interest to explore.
Sikh community is a community that created based on Sikh religion. Sikh religion was founded by Guru Nanak in 1469, 500 years ago, with a simple message of "Ek Ong Kar" which means we are all one, created by the One creator of all creation. This religion has approximately 23 million followers around the world which 90 percent of them live in India. The Sikh followers can be easily recognized from their turban or beard.
