Reserve collection and eReserve

The Print Reserve collection may include print books, audiovisual items, lecture notes, reading packs or other material provided by lecturers and teachers. If you wish to add items to the Reserve collection, then please fill in the Reserve request form and submit to reserve.swanston@rmit.edu.au or reserve.carlton@rmit.edu.au.

Alternatively, the Digitisation Service team will help you make course related documents available in an electronic format. These documents will be added to the Library’s eReserve collection and a link supplied to you for use in Blackboard.

Book audiovisual services for classes

You can request off-air recordings and book films for class presentations via the Library’s Audiovisual services. Make sure you book at least one week in advance of your screening date.

Library resources for myRMIT (Blackboard)

If you are building content for your online course, you can link to and/or embed a variety of Library eResources. These include digitised readings and chapters, eJournals, eBooks, streaming videos and library guides. See Library resources for myRMIT to find out more.

Textbooks

RMIT Bookshop supplies textbooks, prescribed readings and recommended readings to the Library. The fastest way to order textbooks and recommended readings is to send your name, course code and details of titles directly to RMIT Bookshop. Textbook requests can be submitted online.

Library research skills classes

Contact your liaison librarian to arrange a library class. The types of sessions available include library orientation, catalogue and database searching, research skills, and Endnote.

Information for academics and teachers
